As the season premiere of Mad Men approaches, we’ve been thinking a lot about advertising relationships (okay, and what’s to become of Don Draper). A firm rich in relationship capital—one with a wealth of connections among top influencers—has access to more leads, can capitalize on bold opportunities while managing risk, and can better set and achieve its long-term goals. So, outside Sterling Cooper & Partners, who are the most well-connected CEOs in advertising?

Methodology
