Building relationships is not easy. Relationships are a long term investment. They require conversations and outings that do not have specific asks. “You have to pick up the phone, go out for breakfasts, and lead tours around your office.  Fundraising is a contact sport,” Joe writes. But if you can keep up your relationships, your cause will echo out far beyond your initial point of contact.
