1. Mind the gap.
The gender gap, that is. The nonprofit industry, like many others, has a bit of a gender problem: women make up fewer than 1 in 5 of CEOs at top nonprofits, and female nonprofit CEOs earn 21-to-47-percent less than their male counterparts. The 2015 Guidestar Nonprofit Compensation Report has found that the gap is shrinking, but when will we be rid of the pesky thing for good?

Thanks to a partnership with mobile payment app Square, Twitter has announced that it will make it easier than ever for its users to donate directly to campaigns they support. The tech is specifically for campaign donations for now, but could this cross over to the nonprofit sphere?
